This website is developed and staffed by volunteers and non-professionals. It
is intended to provide information, experience and opinion on subjects related
to heroin and other drug use and treatment. It is not to be construed as
treatment or professional treatment advice, nor is it intended to handle drug
emergencies.
If you or someone you know has a drug emergency, contact your local hospital
emergency room or the emergency medical facility nearest you.
Our information is as unbiased as we can make it, however, we reserve the
right to edit or refuse to post material which we deem to be offensive,
irrelevant or harmful. Our bias is drug-free living although we are well aware
that there’s more than one way to skin a cat. If we don’t have the answers we’ll
try and find an expert who does. We’ll also try to include sources and links to
the sites we use or other informative sites.
Our focus is to help, inform, inspire through shared experiences, to connect
to each other and to other resources and to offer evaluative information
regarding those resources. We will always protect the anonymity of the people in
personal stories and will take the editorial liberty to change material so that
no one would be individually identifiable.
We are not affiliated with any hospital, treatment facility, or treatment
philosophy. By our mention or notation in any given story we are not in any way
implying endorsement.
